One good way to utilize the character pack in photoshop is to make copies of the layers and resize them to the scale you want.  Add to your layers and save for future posts!  Boo -Yea!

Also, when typing your text I find it best to stay between 13 and 14pt type for more legibility. Sometimes I would try to change the letter spacing to -10 if I can’t squeeze certain words in.

Also, in Photoshop (especially those older versions) after clicking on the Type icon, try to draw the Type box first, by simply clicking and dragging your mouse cursor in the bubble. It’s easier to control the width and the height of your text area that way.

i used to try to draw calvin and hobbs comics all the time growing up. they were my favorite. i love drawing but do you guys have a video tutorial?

No Tutotials yet. We have plans on to. But you can youtube almost any famous cartoonist today. That’s a good start.
